Staten Island Community College (SICC) Records consists of ten series including administrative records, academic affairs records, student affairs records, alumni affairs records, public relations and media, events records, historical records, photographs, realia and grounds records.
Richmond College was founded in 1967 an an upper division college, and ultimately merged with Staten Island Community College (SICC) to form the College of Staten Island (CSI) in 1976. The records include publications, meeting minutes, photographs and correspondence, but coverage of official administrative records is weak.
According to the College of Staten Island’s 1990 Governance Plan, the College Council is responsible for “the formulation of policy relating to admission and retention of students, grading practices and standards, curriculum, degree requirements, academic freedom, cultural activities, and those aspects of campus life which relate to academic affairs and general educational matters.” The records consist of meeting minutes, agendas and discussion materials.
The student government officially represents the student body to the administration, faculty and other interested parties. The government also coordinates extracurricular activities, runs the student government office, and provides funding and assistance to clubs, publications and special projects. The records include a handbook and meeting minutes.
This collection contains photographs related to the College of Staten Island. In general, most photographs deal with either the Closing Ceremony for the Willowbrook State School (1987) or the construction of the Willowbrook Campus (1985-1994).

This collection contains material pertinent to the Evening Studies program at the Staten Island Community College. Dean Attinson was involved in the program from 1970 to 1979, and her papers provide access to a broad range of material from that period including memos, correspondence, advertisements and news clippings.

In addition, there are several photographs of workers, and one photograph of architect Othman H. Ammann with Robert Moses.
