WSSM-02: The Willowbrook State School News Clippings Collection
Abstract
This collection contains clippings of newspaper articles related to the Willowbrook State School. The physical collection is in 6 boxes. The physical clippings are arranged chronologically and cover the period from September 1947 – November 2000. Almost all of the articles have been digitized, and can be searched for by article title, publication title and author. Basic search of the names of individuals and organization prominently featured in the news articles is also available. Clipping order within a folder may be different than in the finding aid, please see notes.

Arrangement
For usability, each box in the collection has been designated as a series in the collection. These divisions do not represent any intellectual separation of materials which are arranged in a single, contiguous, chronological order.
While the physical clippings are arranged chronologically within each folder, the finding aid presents clippings slightly differently. Articles within the same folder are grouped by alphabetical publication to compensate for variations within description.
