Abstract

This collection contains the oral transcripts of various Staten Island students or residents who had experienced COVID-19 or was affected by it during the first wave of the pandemic on Staten Island. Many discuss what their experience was like and how they felt during the time New York City itself went into quarntine when it became the epicenter of the pandemic.

  • Majority of material found within December 2020; April 2021-May2021

Conditions Governing Use

All participants gave informaed consent for the oral history interview, copyright status varies between transcript. As indicated with each transcript.
