Identifier: CM-12_s1ss1-1-CampusPrintsBF

Scope and Contents

The bulk of the photographs are related to the construction of the new campus at Willowbrook. The photographs include:

Pre-demolition photographs taken in November 1988 for the New York State Dormitory Authority in order to document buildings on the former site of the Willowbrook State School as part of DASNY Project No. 65102301. There were originally 62 photographs in the set of large prints and 61 photographs in the set of small prints, which has one less image of Building 2. There is a full set of 3x5" prints, but about ¼ of the large prints are missing. A list of the prints and a map of the project site are available for both the large and small prints.

Images of demolition at the Willowbrook Campus from February 1990.

Construction photographs from 1990-1994. The 8x10" prints include dates and labels. With the exception of one folder containing photographs of the grounds around South Quad, the prints are arranged by the CSI building number, and then chronologically and by print number. A few general folders containing 3x5 and 4x6" prints follow these folders.

There are a few campus photographs from the late 1990's; these follow the construction photographs.
